Additional Information:

Lord Vicar, traditional Doom Metal cult act from Finland featuring Peter Vicar, formerly of Reverend Bizarre, and Christian Lindersson of Count Raven, joined with the Canadian old school Doomsters Funeral Circle and present exclusive tracks for this split release.

Lord Vicar deliver just what people might expect after their phenomenal debut album and created a massive, almost-14 min epic called "The Fear of Being Crushed", while the newcomers Funeral Circle offer us a grim old school fucker called "The Hexenhammer" and their interpretation of the Witchfinder General classic "Burning a Sinner". I'm sure that all those who like their EP on the Miskatonic Foundation as well as other obscure cult acts such as The Lamp of Thoth, Witchfinder General or Hell will dig the new stuff as well.

A fantastic artwork, done by Peter Vicar's former band member Albert Witchfinder of Reverend Bizarre fame, crowns this release which will be available in strictly limited editions on both CD and vinyl.

The vinyl version comes with heavy Gatefold jacket, on 45rpm heavy black as well as clear and brown vinyl and has been remastered for the best possible vinyl performance.

Tracklist:

1. Lord Vicar - The Fear Of Being Crushed
2. Funeral Circle - The Hexenhammer
3. Funeral Circle - Burning A Sinner

Reviews:

"LORD VICAR machen hier Doom aus dem Lehrbuch und wer nicht weiß, was es mit dieser Musik auf sich hat, kann es mit diesem Stück lernen. [...] Insgesamt ist dies eine empfehlenswerte Veröffentlichung für alle, die nach mehr Stoff aus der finnischen Doom-Schmiede lechzen. Die beiden Songs der kanadischen Newcomer nimmt man da gerne mit, wenn sie auch nicht den zentralen Kaufanreiz darstellen."

"Overall, this is essential if you are fan of both these bands, a great Lord Vicar tune, a Funeral Circle monster in 'The Hexenhammer' and a good Witchfinder General cover. It is a must have situation."

"All in all, a great EP that is worthy of being purchased. You won't get bored by it, as both bands deliver the goods, with a clear advantage to the Finns."

"Empfehlenswerte Split CD, wobei den Finnen ein kleines Lehrstück in Sachen Doom gelungen ist..."

"Not quite as good overall as the three-way split EP released on the same day by Eyes Like Snow, where all three artists couldn’t be separated in terms of the quality of their contributions, this EP is still a first class piece of doom metal, and an absolutely essential purchase for Lord Vicar/Reverend Bizarre fans."

"...this split is worth it for The Fear of Being Crushed alone."
