1. Shipping
We ship only with DHL.
All orders are shipped registered and tracked. Depending on the chosen shipping method the recipient may have to sign for the delivery.
The satisfaction of our customers is important to us, hence LPs are always shipped outside the covers to eliminate the risk of seam splits. The same goes for printed innersleeves, in which case the vinyls are shipped in PE innersleeves to prevent damage. LPs that don't come factory sealed are put into PE protective sleeves before they are packaged. This service is free of charge.
Apart from that, LPs are always shipped double-boxed to prevent possible shipping damage. This additional packaging costs a small fee once, no matter how many LPs are ordered, and is charged automatically when the first LP is put into the shopping cart. The weight of this double packaging is approx. 350g and is included in the shipping cost calculation.
IMPORTANT:
If you haven't received your order after the approximate delivery periods that are mentioned below, please ask at your local post office if the package is kept there for you. Occasionally the postman doesn't leave a note when there's no one at home at the time of delivery, and if a package is not picked up by the recipient within approx. 7-10 days, it is returned unclaimed to us. As this creates considerable additional costs for the return shipment as well as another delivery to you, it should definitely be avoided.
2. Costs
Shipping costs depend on the weight of a package and are calculated automatically before checkout.
2.1. Germany:
Shipping as DHL Parcel, incl. insurance up to 500 Euro.
2.2. International:
Shipping costs for international deliveries also depend on the country of destination.
2.2.1. Weight up to 1kg - Warenpost International - Priority (tracked)
(Usual processing and delivery time 5-20 working days, occasionally up to twice as long if there are any restrictions in effect.)
For small packages (no 10"/12" vinyl) up to 1kg priority shipping with Deutsche Post is recommended as a cheaper option to DHL. This shipping option includes tracking and insurance up to 20 Euro, and does not require the recipient's signature.
2.2.2. Weight over 1kg (Insured shipping as DHL Parcel)
(Usual processing and delivery time: Economy 2-10 weeks, Priority 1-6 weeks)
Packages over 1kg and all 10"/12" vinyl orders have to be shipped insured by default, because of size restrictions that apply to Warenpost packages. They are shipped with DHL, and the costs depend on the shipping destination. DHL parcels include insurance up to 500 Euro.
As a customer you have the choice between Economy and Priority shipping, whereby Economy shipping is the slower but also cheaper option.
3. Payment
Full payment for an order including shipping costs and payment fees (if applicable) must be received by us before it can be shipped.
The following payment options are available:
- SEPA bank transfer (for customers from Germany and the EU)
- PayPal
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
If applicable, you will be redirected to the website of your chosen payment provider upon checkout to finish the secure payment process. All submitted data is encrypted and neither visible to third parties nor stored anywhere in our system.
Should you wish to pay by SEPA bank transfer, you will receive an email with our bank details and instructions on how to complete the payment process.
Note that fees may apply, depending on your chosen payment option!
In the past we covered all fees for Paypal and credit card payments, which we no longer do. However, instead of paying those fees for you we now offer a higher discount via the new loyalty points system. From the former 4%, the discount went up to a whopping 10%! This more than balances possible payment fees, so all returning customers benefit from even higher savings than before. More info here:
4. Discount
We offer our customers a discount in the form of loyalty points on all orders.
The loyalty points can be collected and exchanged for vouchers at any time. These vouchers can then be turned into discounts for future orders.
For every 0,10 € you spend in our shop you receive one loyalty point
Every 500 loyalty points can be turned into a 5.00 € discount voucher
In other words - for every € that you spend on goods in our shop you automatically receive 10% discount in the form of loyalty points! All you have to do to get the discount is order again and use the voucher.
Unclaimed loyalty points and vouchers expire after one year. Getting a cash payment for loyalty points or vouchers is not possible!
